Moonday

Whew!  Been busy with work.  Sometimes I think they are trying to kill me! Anyway, I'm not gonna use today's post as a complaining platform.  I had some pics of the moon I've been saving to share, but it seems that's the blog theme lately.  I've noticed several of you have been posting pics of the moon.  Of course, mine are not as good as some of yours, but they were really experimental pics.  I had to delete some because the moon looked more like a loaf of bread.  So, without further adieu, here's my moon.

And that's my magnificent moon!
Thanks for the thoughts and concerns.  All is okay, and I will keep you posted!!
HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!  MARGARITAS ARE ON ME!!

I am forever trying to get a good moon shot. I'm thinking about a tripod, maybe.

Love your blog, love your moonday.

I have a pricey camera with a great zoom. I wouldn't have it if it weren't for my sister giving it to me. Of course, it was cause she got a better one! LOL A tripod would probably be better. I was leaning on the doorpost, and holding my wrist with my other hand. I took like 20 pics, but many were fuzzy or distorted!

Full Moon!!! Margaritas??? Outta my way, Clair and Anna -- me first!!

I love the second to last one because of the rays of light around it . . . it looks a bit like the sun, but in a moonish way. (Sorry, see what happens when I get involved with photography>?!)

A loaf of bread, huh? Well, that may be more appealing than to think of it as cheese up there all these years.

The moon actually had a red ring around it the other night where we live. Don't know what that's all about but it could be volcano action, maybe?

do you know how difficult it is to get a half decent moon photo? Those are really good, well done.

Try and take a breather and learn to say no..........just wish I could do the same!!

The last two are the best because you have the trees in contrast to the moon.
It's hard to get a good photo of the moon. I really need to slow down the shutter speed and even then it's tough. Always have a hill, or trees , or something in the photo too..., like I know what I'm doing.

Now I'll have to get on this moon train. I'll try and get some pictures over the next few days. We've just been laying exhausted in hotels in the evenings...

something special about the moon.... Jess was born during a total eclipse of it - explains a lot about her !!!

I'm just getting here so I guess I've missed the party, but get to see the "mooning" which I think is pretty cool! I have a hard time getting pictures too, but glad I have a digital camera and can keep trying!!

Those are much better photos of the moon than I have been able to get. Love the misty moon shot.
