Three weeks nearly since my last post. Shame on me, I guess. But it seems harder to keep up with blogging than I remember. But then again, I'm driving now. So we haven't started on the house yet. We're moving a lot of stuff this weekend. I'll be so glad when we finally get out there. Then I'll be ready to see some progress! I'll certainly take plenty of pics. Gonna be brief tonight, though, cause I'm watching The Voice! See y'all!

I feel for you guys. I know what you're going through.
We stayed in our RV during our trips to our property; and when my husband's retirement was finally approved, we lived in it 9 months while working to get the house liveable.
Mind you, it's only a 29 foot trailer.
I wish you guys the best on your move and on getting the house fixed up. *hugs* ♥
Oh I love The Voice too ! Good luck x
Wonderful news all the way around! Congrats on the house and being close to your parents. But sure do know how hard it is to make a move. Be sure to take some rest breaks... such hard work physically and emotionally. Thanks for the kind comments. I feel like I have been away from blogging for two years and it has only been a month or so. Very glad to hear from you and to find out that all is well!
you are going to be busy bees when you move house. We too are renovating an old house, so turn to me when it gets too much as I will so know how you feel!!

I'm glad to see you back in blogland. I took a hiatus too but am glad to get back to blogging about my garden. Can't wait to see pics of the new place. I hate moving but usually the end result is good and refreshing.
Go... don't miss The Voice.
We will look forward to some photos of your new digs.
Don't over do.

Keep up with the blog momentum
Gonna do my best. Life is quite busy these days. But I'm not going anywhere this time.
I hope the move went well for yall. It is hard to get back into the routine of blogging. Think of it as when you first started - it seemed to help me get a little more enthused about posting again. We have to take breaks though. I enjoy your blog so keep it up!! Take care. I'll catch you on FB.
I am just now catching up with you catching up on your blog. I wondered what happened to ya'll! Welcome back, chickens or not. I am excited about your new adventure and move. I cannot wait to see the new place and what you will do with it. I am always grateful when someone takes care of what would seem an overwhelming project to "fix up" a house. I hate to see them go to waste. We have so many here that were beautiful homes, and now sit empty, waiting for the love. I wish you all the best of luck in making it your new home. What would we do without challenges in our lives? My blogging has slowed down, but I welcome your comments and thank you for them. Kat
