Dear Randy and Mike, Everywhere in Europe the temperatures appear to be unusually high and I note, too, that it is 84F with you in Winterville. Your pool of water, therefore, appears particularly appealing were it not for that rather sinister looking fin. A new Loch Ness Monster??
Having read back through your previous postings, such a lot has been happening with you during my absence.
Your picture reminds me of one day when we went fishing in Slocum Creek on MCAS Cherry Point. We were headed out to the mouth where the Neuse River runs by. I saw a fin in the water. Then I saw fins in the water. My husband said my eyes got as big as saucers, the brat. ;) Then we realized it was a big pod of dolphins! We headed back to the dock because we didn't want to hit any of the babies.
All I can say is hot as it is here today(100+) I think I a little bitty ole fin wouldn't bother this ole country gal one bit. I'd go ahead and jump in and cool off! LOL..
The rainy season was over but teribble hot summer here in japan too// Hope you'll keep cool yourself-swimming,ice-cream,cool air..Our air conditioner is working all day long..
Randy, Now that's a posting with a porpoise... Ok, Ok I know it's an old, old joke but I just had to... But after today I would love to be dabbling my toe's in the water and just relaxing. Great picture thanks for sharing it with us. - G

Well....I was going to say it looks like a good place for a swim but on a closer look...maybe not!
Hope you are cool where you are (indoors if you are cause it's hot outside). Record breaking heat across the country. Have a good day.

OK.
Where was this photo taken?
Randy?
Randy, are you still there?
Has anybody seen Randy?
Haven't seen him recently Nancy, but my guess is it was taken in the sound near his folks' place. :)
