How nice of you to keep the kids for the weekend!! I always loved having my neice and nephew come stay the night with me--but I was always glad when they left too--They wore me out!! :-)
Thank you! Hope you all have a great holiday too! Re broody hens: My hens will go broody and sit on a nest with no eggs. Silly hens. Sometimes the other hens will peck on them and bother them and make them leave the nest for a while. I've read that you are supposed to move the broody hen to a private spot where the other hens can't get at them if you want them to sit and hatch out eggs. I've never done that... I'm always trying to get them to stop being broody.
