Well, everyone has made it clear I cannot go. I wasn't leaving permanently. I was just gonna stop blogging, but keep reading. However, no one seems to want me to do that. I was going to post some pics on Black Kitty (that's what Mike named him) but for some odd reason my pics will not post today. Pics I take with my camera take a long time to load normally, anyway. So instead I am going to share a pic I borrowed from someone else. I am also going to share a poem by one of my favourite poets, Robert Frost. When I die I want his poem
The Road Not Taken engraved on my head stone. If there is one thing I have learned in my short 33 years on this spinning ball of dirt and water is that chances are worth taking. I have lost many, but that is because I have loved many. And I regret none of it. I am thankful for every single person who has entered into my life. Some I have known for a lifetime, some for only a few short moments. But all have touched my life in some sort of way and changed me ever so subtly. And I am glad for that. Thank you to each and every one of you who have blessed me by simply reading my ramblings. I am sure I will post again before the fat man slides down the chimneys, but Merry Christmas y'all!!
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
-Robert Frost

Thank-you so much for posting this! A couple of days ago I was looking through some books that belonged to my Mom, and a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson fell out of one that she had written down. It made me think of this poem--The quote goes, "Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”
Thanks again for your post--For me, it's needed advice...
Soooo glad you're sticking around. Okay, what's up with Black Kitty? Love the picture and the poem..always a good one.
Merry Christmas! Love your winter blog look! I love this poem too. Blogging should not be a chore for you. It is OK to slow down on posting if that's what makes you happy. Consider just posting about what is happening or about what you care about. You don't need to entertain your readers. Post for yourself. Be happy.
I havent read peoples posts for a couple of days...pleased your not going to stop blogging Mr!!

Sometimes I can't load a picture to a post either and I've deleated loads of pics which helps to load from the camera quicker...but our computer is so slow I shout at it sometimes !
